This is a delightful invitation into paying attention. I've been looking for synchronicity lately, and occasionally finding it. I would gently take issue with your example of changing from a flight which later crashed. It reminds me of "There but for the grace of God ..." -- a cringe-worthy religious sentiment. However, that's a small thing in this beautiful, magical essay!

Hi, Elizabeth. Thank you for your kind words. I do understand that you found my example of changing a plane flight a bit cringey. What I didn't say was that this happened to my ex-husband whose amphibious plane crashed in a river in Nigeria which I had originally planned to be on but later changed my mind.. My first thought at the time was something else...

I loved this post and the topic in general. "I Believe" sums it up for me. I look for Synchronicity and it is often there. Magic!
